Sunday 5 February 2012: Mist on the Mountains
White donkey's are said to be lucky in this part of the world and here are two, spotted on a walk with friends this morning! The old abandoned house caught mine and freespirals attention, so we had to detour up a muddy boreen for a little explore. It was a bit to risky to enter, even for us incorridgable explorers, as the roof was in a state of collapse but we had a good nosey around the outside. This house was an unusual design but as with all the old houses around here, it nestles beautifully in it's surroundings, unlike the houses built in the last few decades! Caught up with the others and went for a delicious lunch at Sheila's house.
