Taking Off

Of course this isn't us. We are still on the ground. But this afternoon we'll be off on our way to Las Vegas. Alissa will be here taking care of the house and cats. Ric came over today and found the source of the beeping without a smoke detector. We also have a CO2 detector and it beeps at exactly the same frequency as the smoke detectors do. Enough to drive one crazy. It is now disabled as Ric feels, and I agree, that it is highly unlikely we'll have excess CO2 in our house. The good smoke detectors are back in place. A replacement will follow after we get back home. What an odd day it was yesterday.

We are packed and just about ready to go. Next blip from Nevada...
