Monday 6 February 2012: Roman Remains
Underneath this building work there is some of the building work carried out by the Romans when Gloucester was known as Glevum.
You could see part of the city walls, latrines (yes, where 'wrong end of the stick' comes from' and these were all marked so you knew what was what.
The structure that enabled people to view the ruins had become an eyesore and a leaning post for all manner of people so it's being changed to a toughened glass floor with seating around it.
