Tuesday 7 February 2012: The way to the chateau
Shopping again this morning with a trip to Roquessels to buy some of our favourite wine from the Domaine d'Estève/Chateau des Adouzes to take to Wales with us. It was 0C all morning with a biting north wind and, quite a rare event, the river has frozen over. I've put some photos here. Not very impressive compared with weather in other parts of Europe, I know, but I haven't seen it like this before.
I'm thinking today of the Syrian people and the dreadful attack on Homs in response to their campaign for democracy.
