Tuesday 7 February 2012: Statues
I've noticed people seem to be creeping into my pictures. I think it was Saturday that did it. I was as high as a kite after taking that portrait. Photographic equivalent of crack (I'd imagine). Last week birds were my obsession; now apparently it's humans. Rather fitting then to kick off my new 'thing' with a study of the human body in statue and life form.
A rather happy coincidence that this little boy decided to fling himself on the ground and pretend to be a statue, much to the amusement of his Dad.
This was taken at the Burrell Collection, located near me in Pollok Country Park. I can pop by for a lunchtime walk and nip and see a Rodin for zero pence; only in Glasgow!
Have a good Tuesday.
