Fashion or just agony

Went over to Edinburgh and walking through St James Centre saw these shoes. I seem to remember in the dim and distant past wearing high heeled shoes but not quite like these!

Surprisingly met my sister-in-law with her granddaughter and went for a coffee.

I am hoping to find my way by bus to Musselburgh Scrapes tomorrow to meet up with the local rspb Glasgow group for a walk and bird watching.
