Lily

Spotted this unknown lily on my side walk, amidst a heavy growth of Dutch Iris. So heavy that I could not detect the shape of its leaves, or anything else.
Some of the flowers were already dying off, so, it must have been blooming for quite some time.
All I can say is that the flower head is carried by a thick stalk - perhaps I need to investigate tomorrow.

Lovely summer's day, hot, and the afternoon became cloudy, ready for rain, but no such luck.
