Tuesday 7 February 2012: Icicles
Well, most of the snow has gone, but it's still freezing. "Only" -1C. However the wind from the Pyrenees, gusting from 75-110 kph, makes it feel like -15, according to Meteo-France. Also according to me, during the brief moment I stepped outside and immediately decided to restrict my blipping to objects within a few metres of our front door.
Hence the fountain again. The water is still flowing, but there is an increasingly impressive collection of icicles where the wind has blown the water against the metal supports. The water itself is ... refreshing. I love the fact that we still have a fountain providing drinkable water.
