Tuesday 7 February 2012: Faces of Fiona #46
Another glorious day so we headed to the zoo again for our day with Fiona. All the animals were out enjoying the sun and that brown-footed booby was on his rock. We thought we were going to escape the carousel but she spied it and we had to have a few rides. The highlight of the day tho, was going in one entrance of the meercat "burrow" and coming out the other. Many times. She wanted us to accompany her but we were too big! Those meercats were in their own space and very active! The other good sight was a swan who must think he's a flamingo as he was standing on one foot right next to them! Fiona had pretty good nap today too.....always appreciated!
H and I are about to go to the opening of the new Gauguin show at the Seattle Art Museum! Looking forward to it!
I'm trying to learn to use the blipfolio a bit so I did manage to put the swan on it in "wildlife"
