Wednesday 8 February 2012: Beach at Waipu Cove
Picked the van up today and ended up here at Waipu Cove. Holiday park, which is just behind dunes on the beach, and the beach itself more or less deserted and weather glorious. Stopped at Orewa for lunch, which is equally stunning, then drove through rolling green hills and forest to here. Not actually much time for blipping today (van hire paperwork and supermarket sweep take ages), but just loved the twisted trees and the reflection.
