Leah and I went out for a stroll to test out my new rig: D5100! (thanks to my tax return). turns out that Chris's girlfriend, Brooke, works at the re-modeled yoga studio across the street from our place. L is thinking about signing up for some of that hot yoga, the kind of stuff that makes me nauseous just thinking about it--not because yoga repels me, just the stinking hot sweaty humidity part. bad enough I have to live around here in the summer. I don't deal well with stickiness.
Went to another candidate lunch/talk today at the University. Two more promising applicants in later this week and then my department has to make a decision. interesting folks, interesting process. to say the least.
