Captain Snowpants

Our first ever snowman! It snowed for real today after faking us out a bit the past few days. The snow was a perfect packing snow. We went for a short walk just to get out of the house and enjoy the feel of the cold air and the sound of boots crunching snow (one of my favorite sounds!). On the way back, we stopped in the yard and I made a snow angel and then we made this impromptu snow man. We only had baby carrots and we didn't really have anything else for the face! We grabbed some sticks off of our cherry tree for the arms and mouth. Then Mr. Apple came up with the brilliant idea of using the outdoor lights for his eyes. It made him just perfect and very much our snowman!
