The Dreadnought Hotel Bathgate

The Dreadnought Hotel was the scene of many a debauched night in my younger days. The usual clientele were bikers and guys ( and girls ) into heavy metal, so not really my type of people. Being a bit of a punk who was heavily into anything Factory ( Joy Division, Section 25, A Certain Ratio, New Order etc ) needless to say it was the scene of many a good punch up as well... Friday nights were something else though as the music veered towards British Indie and Punk.
The woman at the bottom right of this photo is my mum, who, unbeknown to me was watching me take this photo from the opposite side of the road.
