Friday 10 February 2012: Funny Side of the Road
Arriving at 8am sharp, as ever, I discovered an email sent minutes earlier by the boss man in London thanking us for our efforts during the week and telling us all to knock off at 3pm. This good fortune (which it is) is comparative of course. The lazy buggers sloping in at ten would hardly have time to unzip their pencil cases! I watched the clock as they ambled in irked by the injustice of it all.
And when at three pm I finally departed the office the upper deck was invaded by half a dozen young women whose conversation was at such a level of inanity like, that, like, I was close to despair, like, grumpy old fekker that I am.
Just as well I can see the foooneee side of it all. Ha ha ha! Hahaha. The weekend is upon us!
