Our Dynamic Earth

2nd day of the conference in Edinburgh. It was held in Our Dynamic Earth. Even though I lived in Edinburgh for 4 years I've never been in. Seems right up my street (geeky scientist!).

I was tempted to buy some space ice cream at the gift shop though! They also had some cool dinosaur t-shirts, unfortunately all kids sizes, rubbish!

The train back to Inverness was made much more enjoyable by sitting next to two complete strangers who chatted all the way back up north, Jim and Ritchie. I think we stopped Ritchie doing any of the work he planned to do but I don't think he minded too much. If I'd been braver I would have gotten a picture of Jim, he was a great character!
