Saturday 11 February 2012: park bench
My lovely sister has become a fan of the humble park bench, planning on having some in the new garden in cosy corners and at scenery lookouts. Every time I see one I think of her.
In France there are some beauties made from curved perforated metal , coloured a gentle bluey green. This one is made from jarrah and steel and recently planted under a shady eucalypt. Just perfect for a breather on our afternoon walk.
Astro is a very keen bench percher...I reckon he blends beautifully with the new wood.
