Saturday 11 February 2012: After sunrise
I missed the best bit but it was too cold to venture out at 7 o'clock. We headed to M&S via the scenic route and caught the final glimmers of sun. It's now grey and freezing cold again. It is quite misty too. The offshore structure may be prospecting a site for a proposed windfarm - there is plenty of wind available. Last week, some residents had reported a minor earthquake and some kind of sonic boom onshore and I think the prospectors are getting the blame.
