Winter's Fingers

This spot, Baildon Beck at the point it leaves the moor to enter the village, was almost the subject for my blip last Saturday, when 4yo said, "Daddy, you should stop and take a picture of those lovely icicles." During the week the ice they've grown quite a bit and are developing some unusual shapes.

There hasn't been any more snow today, but the ground is frozen and there's a lot of ice. We're hoping that more snow doesn't arrive over the next few days so that we can make out half-term trip to Wales and back safely. I won't be blipping while I'm away, but will catch up with back blips later in the week.

We're holding a blip meet at Gallery II on Thursday (5pm onward). It will be mainly Bradford and Leeds blippers, but if you're in the vicinity, do drop by. @Wendles56 is doing her best to herd us, so if you're interested in coming it would be good to let her know. @SnapshotSam blipped from the show yesterday.
