Winter wonderland
Temperatures plunged to -14C where I live in the East Midlands. It was still -9C at 10am when I ventured out into the village and what a beautifull sight. A heavy hoar frost had turned everywhere into a winter wonderland and to complete the picture there was a perfect blue sky. It was a photographer's dream and I spent the next hour like a kid in a sweet shop with fingers freezing as I tried to make the best of the opportunity. This shot probably give the best idea of what it was like and it looks pretty wonderful in large.
For the record: Min -14C and extremely cold.
