Saturday 11 February 2012: Top Of The League
Now I am all for women in football. After all I spent every Saturday morning on rainswept touchlines supporting my daughter when she played.
Today the opposition had an attractive young lady physio.
The downside was that their players went down at the slightest touch anxious it seems for her to run on and administer her magic sponge.
Ours was the only game left on in the league today and a comfortable 2-0 win which further extended our lead at the top.
Steward 39 stands for the whole game staring into the crowd. As if we would even think about invading the pitch.
