Seeing the Light

This of course is my "go to" camera, the one I have with me all the time...
And if you believe me, I will sell you the Cape Fear Bridge at a real good price. Actually, this camera belonged to my father and it may have been his "go to" camera for a while in the 1930s - not sure. In his youth, he was an avid photographer and had several of these kinds of cameras.

Speaking of light, today marks the birthday of the inventor Thomas Alva Edison (1847-1931), who invented the phonograph, the movie camera, and the practical light bulb.
