Sunday 12 February 2012: Dragons Afloat

Chinese Lantern Festival in the Avon, Christchurch.
This used to be in the middle of the city, which is now "red zone" and cut off from the public due to earthquake destroyed buildings and demolition work that is on going in the city. It used to be very cute and special with the river flowing through, but this year it had to move to a large open park, and it was still beautiful and wonderful.
