Saturday 11 February 2012: A Writer, Writing
The Love Letters Project was a one day community event offering the free services of local writers to craft a personalized love letter or poem for the object of your affection. In the space of a 15 minute session, the scribe works from your list of a few adjectives and presents you with a finished piece--romantic, affectionate, sexy or funny according to your request. This celebration of the written word is meant to call attention to an on-line journal that is to debut later this week. Writers were stationed at three different venues in town: an art gallery, the museum and our independent bookstore, and they appeared to be having a fine time.
