Sunday 12 February 2012: Paddling at Papamoa
After 5 days of glorious sunshine, we woke to steady drizzle and cloud shrouded hills on the Coromandel; drove through lush forest with giant ferns, stopping at Hot Water Beach where if the tide is right you can dig your own hot thermal pool in the sand - it wasn't! - then to Waihi and finally here. the rain had stopped, but this pair were still mincing daintiliy through the puddles on the beach!
