Little Grebe (Winter)

A trip to Rye Meads and Amwell today. This Little Grebe was taking advantage of whatever heat he could find in the sun's rays.

This Photo was taken at 12:09 at Rye Meads, according to Herts Birds Website a White-tailed Eagle, flew over south-east over Rye Meads at 12:10 - perhaps I should have looked up rather than watching this wee chap. Nah, there'll be other White-tailed Eagles.

The year list now stands at 84 with the addition of Lesser Black-backed Gull, Little Grebe, Pochard, Shelduck & Shoveler.
