Still on holiday!

Still in the holiday mood of yesterday but, this time, experiencing the beach at Harlech.

I thought I'd take to the air myself today, partly inspired by listening to a bit of this and remembering the distinctive album cover. Turn it up loud to shake you out of any Sunday afternoon slumber!

We are all up in the sky today in the western half of the country - must be something about the wind blowing in off the Irish Sea and the Atlantic!

Some days a few pop up!

A day out at Harlech Castle, on the beach in Harlech, on the beach in Barmouth. No glimpse of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) but a peek at my favourite, Cadair Idris, on the way home.

Part of me itches to be up there but there isn't much more fun to be had than playing commandoes in the dunes with Son 1. He needed some feedback on the need for stealthy soldiering without high volume shouting but, other than that, he made a good recruit!

Yes, we did have chips. Yes, they were very nice. Yes, we did walk them off.

Thanks for your lovely comments for yesterday - funny how these shots come about!

Holiday reading this week is a great one on fonts by Simon Garfield. Surprisingly interesting.

I wonder what the rest of the week will bring.

Goodbye Nikon D40!
