Friday 3 February 2012: 36. girl scouts
this is actually something that is all over the US and the world, but in texas i feel they are very widespread and feverishly anticipated each year as the cookie season begins!
i wanted to feature them especially as they visited our program today to learn more about adult literacy in their community. they are planning a fundraising project to benefit us and hosting them was really a lot of fun. they were so bright and though i am not always drawn to working with young children, i found them rather inspiring.
