Monday 13 February 2012: How much?
I've just had my first dental appointment in Germany and discovered the painful truth that the only thing hurts more than going to the dentist is paying the dentist. It appears that I've had a lot of shoddy work done in my mouth - the best being the "fragment" of a tooth that was left in after an extraction. I was told it would "work it's way out". Having seen the x-ray, I know why it hasn't. Under the "fragment" there is pretty much the whole root system.
It looks like I'll be heading back to the dentist for the next 6 or 7 weeks to have a lot of repairs done.
Consequently I was in a bit of daze when I came out of surgery. This was blipped as I realised I'm not going to be in a mood to look for inspiring or funny things today.
