Monday 13 February 2012: The Wizard Tree
If I had to choose a favourite tree (of the non-human variety), it would almost certainly be the Wizard Tree at Vogrie Park.
It's clearly very old and wise, and capable of unleashing immense mystical power should it ever be required. Yet it's quite happy to stand gracefully and let its branches be polished to a shine by thousands of monkey-like children.
