Preening

A female goosander (Mergus merganser) on the river.
They are very elegent wee ducks (and elegant is not really a word often associated with ducks...)
Over the last month or so, I've been cataloguing all the last 960-odd days of photos in Lightroom, I've assigned the tag "goosander" to more photos than practically any other designation.
I still really like them :)
