Thursday 2 February 2012: White out
We left Fes today and headed to Medelt. This took us through the middle Atlas Mountains and the ski resort town of Ifrane. We seemed to have run into the tail end of the super cold conditions in Europe and it was snowing here. Once we passed the mountains it became quite a dry and arid looking landscape. Just near here cars had stopped and the children were out building snowmen and having snow fights. Typical winter activities. Our guest house at Medelt was frigid and no hot water!!!
