Jack Snipe
So , last year when I was chasing birds everywhere for the year list, Jack Snipe proved problematical and was eventually found with a trip down to Berkshire and a fairly dire photo. Yesterday we visited our local reserve at Lemsford Springs hoping to find one, but although there were 10 Common Snipe there were no Jack Snipe. I returned myself today, No Common Snipe around, but showing quite nicely was one Jack Snipe.
The list that I'm not doing is up to 77 with the addition of Grey Heron, Water Rail & Jack Snipe.
