paradise place

as its valentines day, i thought i would bring you all a little bit of romance, and here it is, tons of concrete!

this photo was taken from the (little used) bridge across paradise circus queensway. most people either use the pedestrian underpass, or walk through the bottom of the library to get to exactly the same place. i must admit i didnt realise this bridge was even there until today, its really out of the way.

everything you see here is concrete, and only the library (the windows on the left) is in use, the rest, most of which isnt even pictured, lays empty.

i did have a sneaky wonder over the otherside to check out the steps and what else is under the road, and its INCREDIBLE! masses of concrete, all different shapes, and going off at all angles. a staff car park and access to the bottom of paradise forum is under there too.
