Monday 6 February 2012: Goatherd
This shot was taken from our van as we were driving to an amazing place called Ait Benhaddou. It is near Ouarzazate - Morocco's film mecca with several studios there. We had lunch on a terrace overlooking a building where a scene from Stars Wars (the first one - ep 4 was filmed). If you recall it was after the bar scene when Luke Skywalker had met up with Harrison Ford and was seeking a lift. Just down the road in the other direction was a village where Babel was filmed. The list goes on.
