The way I see it.

Wednesday 15 February 2012: Wigeon

Went down to the end of the Caledonian sea where it enters the Beauly firth after school. The sky was disappointing but this little squadron of ducks was scuttling along the canal and provided some blip fodder. Widgeon seem to be common here at this time of year and I love the colourful male plumage.

We had 2 very interesting training sessions for our in-service day. The first was all about responding positively to challenging behaviour and the second was a refresher on Picture Exchange Commuincation. All good tools to have in your toolkit. When the kids aren't there it is so easy to understand what you should do - let's see what next week brings!
