Wednesday 15 February 2012: Shack On!!!
24 hours ago I was in surgery. Since then the strongest pain killers I have had - the Motrin they insisted I take before I left the surgeon's office and one this morning though I probably could have done without. The heavy hitting painkillers have already been shelved away unopened as have the useless antibiotics. Enough of that.
I had arnica when I left surgery and again last night and this morning. I have mostly been having yogurt and juice (all raw home made of course) and a little cooked vegetable. But I did get on the treadmill and walked three miles in one hour, had a lovely salt shower and went a Blipping!
I am feeling very grateful today about life and all I have been through good and not so good. I am so looking forward to being well, writing my next book, getting back to work full time and a lovely stay-cation this spring that includes company and hiking.
So all I can say now is SING IT SHIRLEY!
