ageing seagull

This statue was erected to mark the opening - in 1963 obviously - of the Aubrey boating pond in Largs.
I remember it well, there used to be wee paddle boats which could be hired out for half an hour at a time, and it was a pretty popular place on a hot summer day.
Not much goes on there now. Apparently it is still used by a model boat club.
