Sunday 10 August 2008: Jeannie
Jeannie (my Eastern Spiny Softshell Turtle) was curious why I was waving the phone around her tank.
She's clearly forgiven me for the indignity of scooping her out of it yesterday to clean it.
Mainly because I feed her.
Jeannie is so much happier in her new tank. I rescued her from a family that no longer wanted her, and kept her in a tank only (edit: sorry, wrong info, right now!) twice her length and width, with hardly any water in at all.
Now she swims. Weirdly. But she swims.
Sorry it's so blurry. She was moving rapidly.
