Saturday 18 February 2012: A new bike
Yesterday I snapped up a bargain bike, a Cannondale CX700. I'm rather pleased with the purchase. It was meant to me for my youngest son but after I'd ridden it today I've decided to keep it for myself, which means that I now have to find a new bike for son no 3.
I am also pleased at the fact that I managed twenty miles on the the bike today despite not having cycled for about five months and it seems that I'm getting over my operation. So I'm doubly pleased.
Mind you it was so cold and windy that I was near frozen when I got home.
Allison is making a lovely tea tonight, chicken satay and spicy noodles, I imagine that after a few beers I'll be out like a light.
