Saturday 18 February 2012: Arthur's Seat from the Pentlands

I went for a short run into the Pentlands this morning. Very cold westerly wind with a flutter of hailstones, so I decided not to go to the top of Capelaw. However, I took several photos and I like this one best. It's on the way back to Dreghorn, looking over to the city and Arthur's Seat. On the right are the foothills of Allermuir.

Spent the afternoon in the garden laying the foundation stones of a low retaining wall. I haven't built a dry stone retaining wall before (without help) and so I hope I can finish this.

Just back from watching the modern silent movie, The Artist at the Filmhouse. Marvellous!
