Saturday 18 February 2012: A Tiny Robot
Popped out to a gig at Henry's Cellar Bar, One of the SongByToad gigs. Very enjoyable it was too. Started with Morris Major, who were kind of guitar pop followed by a reduced My Tiny Robots, who were more folk than I expected and finally a Ramones influenced Chris Devotion and the Expectations.
Would like to see My Tiny Robots with a full band, and see how electronic the output is. They have a kind 80's retro feel in the Franz Ferdinand kind of Germanic way. Here is the link to their new single if you are interested. That Mr Scobes dude reckons it takes a couple of listens.
