Sunday 19 February 2012: Jack & Bumble

These two are both 4yrs old, well not quite they will be in May.
They are an unlikely couple as Jack is a white Mallard & Bumble is a Grey Indian Runner duck.
And as they say size really doesn't matter, these two are as in love as it gets, well for ducks at any rate.

Jack very rarely leaves her side - bless him.

Today that bright light shone again in the sky! Someone needs to pop an extra penny in the meter though as the light was on but there was no heating switched on! I'm also not 100% sure if anyone was home! Well it's Sunday I'm allowed to wonder around in a daze aren't I ???
Got some photo's of wildy birds, missed seeing the woodpecker as I was doing lunch and also got some pics of the view out to sea & over towards the Isle of Man which we could just about make out.

Tomorrow we're off visiting our new Niece and all that entails, firstly though we are heading to Jodrell Bank. Literally 5 mins away from where I spent the first half of my life. I have been promising o/h we'd go for ages. Killing two birds isn't the best description a person such as myself should use but hey that's what we'll be doing. I laugh in the face of what ever it is I should laugh at! :oP
Hope the weather is as good there, that we manage to get up and go on time, that o/h goes and does his hair soon, that the water is warm enough for a bath and that I remember to wrap the pressies up before the last minute.

I'd best get gone
