Sunday 19 February 2012: car trouble

Spring cleaned Yola's room with her today. She's going for a more minimal look, ie she's chucked out bags and bags of teenage 'stuff'. Fluff mice all safely swept away and her collection of empty vodka bottles thankfully no longer deemed necessary. It reminds me of one of my brothers as a teenager, with his very precious massive beer can collection. My mother was disapproving but allowed him to keep it, so I followed in her footsteps as I think we all turned out OK!
I've been eyeing up this bog land on the Schull to Balleydehob road for ages. Today was an unexpected opportunity to get it blipped. We went for a very good Sunday lunch at Tom and Ruth's, Hubs cycled and I drove his car (just in case he needed a broom wagon)! Something large, black and plastic fell off, after making a nasty noise before it separated and I ran it over!!! We've been pootering about in his car all weekend together and it waits for me to a 10 minute journey on my own to fall apart! After inspection it was generally agreed he wasn't bothered by it's absence!!
