Consistory

The Consistory Court in Chester Cathedral.

As an example of what the X10 can do, this is probably not the best. I couldn't work out why AE bracketed shots were all coming out at the same shutter speed - all shot at 1/4 second. I now know - that's the slowest speed an auto bracket will go (I have no idea why - doesn't make much sense to me). This shot really needed a base exposure of about 1 second. But I think it works ok. I can see it might take a little time to work out the X10's funny little ways - of which there seem to be a few.

The Chancellor's chair and the other woodwork in this shot all dates from at least 1635 - the table might be older. Which is quite remarkable when you think about it.
