Bella's Laptop
In a previous life I was trained as a journalist and this beautiful little portable typewriter was given to me for my eighteenth birthday. I've dragged it over hill and dale for too many years so now it's going to become Bella's laptop.
Instead of her playing with computers we all felt that it would be better for her to play with something that has a visible mechanism, as well as a very satisfying thump and click, so the little Olivetti will have a new lease of life.
After all this time it still works, has a beautiful case and even the ribbons still do their two colours. I quite fancy it myself.
