Monday 20 February 2012: Knitting
Mr. S asked for hand-knit slippers for Christmas. I finished the first one today, and, much to my surprise: it fits him! Plus he says it's warm and comfortable. The hardest part was simply finding a pattern. I hemmed and hawed about this one for a long time (since before Christmas...) because it didn't say what size foot it would fit. But the pattern is very clever, an act of faith--just do all the odd things it says and you will get a slipper, knit all in one piece.
Well of course I'm making another one, what did you think?
