Tuesday 21 February 2012: The Out of Towners

They arrive just before 9 a.m. scurrying up waverley steps desperate to clock in on time.

At least they are not blown off their feet until they get to the top of the stairs.

Edinburgh has been propelled into the 21st century with an escalator and rain / wind cover.

I was passing and wanted to blip the new steps so here they are.

I had to get to the bank.

But it was closed until later today.

Ho hum. At least it gave me an excuse for a diversion before I had to clock in myself.
