Tuesday 21 February 2012: Riders in the storm
After a desayuno of tostados / croissants and cappuccinos / peach juices we made our way to La Bicicleteria Sur to select our vehicles for the day.
The weather was a touch windy but with the sun shining we had smiles on our faces as we manouvered the bikes onto the 25km Ramblas path. Passing by the plush Pocitos beach we noticed a film crew interviewing a samba dance crew who looked like they were having a final rehearsal before hitting the Rio carneval.
After a couple of hours of pedalling we hit the 21.5km mark and thought it wise to turn our heads. That is when we noticed and shot today's Blip and briefly became riders in the storm.
