Sunday 19 February 2012: Taieri River Mouth.
Day seven Dunedin.
Early start this morning to take my sister Jan to Dunedin Airport ... a 30 min drive south .
Yet another cold rainy day I took Mum for a drive back via the coastal road stopping for a photo stop here at Taieri Mouth.
Maori lived here long before the European settler's came and moa bones have been found.
The settlers were whaler's.
