Road to the moors - Walk Day 7

[Archive blip]. The long and winding road was inviting, but my walking route turned off left at this point, later to ascend to the moors at the left of the picture, which mark the highest point on the watershed of the River Rother catchment area.

This walk was one of the highlights of the interesting and varied series.

The road is west of Holmesfield looking towards Owler Bar.
